Hello NES families! My name is Yamira Fuller and this is my fifth year working at NES. Some of you might know me as Ms. Turner, but I got married in December to my husband Eric, so I have a new name! I received my undergraduate degree in Interdisciplinary Studies/Elementary Education in 1997 from the University of Texas in San Antonio. I have been a teacher for 17 years and taught multiple grade levels, but this is my fifth year teaching 1st grade at NES.

I grew up as an Air Force "brat" and have had the pleasure of living in 10 different states and 4 different countries. I have 3 children: Micah, 24; Trey, 22; and Mia, 16; and a beautiful step-daughter named Laney. Micah goes to MGA and is pursuing a degree in Elementary Education. Trey is a Firefighter in the United States Air Force and is currently stationed at Minot Air Force Base in North Dakota. Mia is starting her junior year of high school at Veterans High School.

I love being a teacher and I feel so blessed to be a part of such a wonderful team at NES!  I am looking forward to serving you and your children!
