Bio
I am Sandi Moore and I am so excited to be a teacher in Houston County Schools! I graduated High School in Gwinnett County and began my college journey at Dekalb College in Lawrenceville. After achieving my Associates degree, I transferred to Mercer University, where I received my B.S. in Education. I later added a M.S. and Ed.S. in education and gifted certification. During my university tour, I began working in the school system. I have worked as a substitute teacher, Paraprofessional, Pre-K Assistant Teacher, and a teacher in K, 2nd, 4th, and 5th grades and spent 3 years as an EIP teacher. My family includes my husband and five children, ages 17-28. My daughter is a Senior at Warner Robins High School. I also have two step-children (39 and 37) and three grandchildren. My two fur-babies are Doobie, and Maybelline - both silly dogs. I am very excited about being a part of a military community, as I am the child of an Air Force retiree. Seeing the support given to military families makes me so proud of my home.
