Welcome!  My name is Rebecca Skipper and I began teaching at Northside Elementary in 2015.  I have taught kindergarten, first grade, and am excited to be working as a Reading Specialist this year . Before joining the Falcon Family, I lived in Illinois where I was a reading recovery teacher for 5 years. I love building relationships with my students and celebrating their success!

Before beginning my teaching career, I served in the United States Army. During my time in the Army and I was able to visit many different locations in the world. My favorite place was South Korea!

I have been married 26 years to my husband Robert and we have three wonderful kids. Our favorite thing to do is travel! We also have 3 pets, our dog Rex, and 2 cats, Mimi and Pepper!
