Ms. Rogers is a proud product of the Houston County School System. She is a graduate of Houston County High School. Ms. Rogers received her B.S.Ed. in Middle Grades Education from the University of Georgia. Later, she earned her M.Ed. in Middle Grades Education at Georgia College & State University and her Ed.S. Degree in Learning Design & Technology (Media Specialist) from the University of Georgia. She additionally holds a Gifted Endorsement and an Instructional Coaching Endorsement. 

Ms. Rogers began her teaching career in 2001 at Bonaire Middle School in Houston County, teaching 7th and 8th grade Language Arts. She has taught in North Carolina and in Gwinnett County Public Schools. Ms. Rogers has served as team leader, curriculum lead for Language Arts, Language Arts curriculum writer, and facilitated district-wide literacy professional development. Ms. Rogers was named the Pinckneyville Middle School Teacher of the Year in 2014 for GCPS.

This is Ms. Rogers' fourth year as a Media Specialist at Northside Elementary School.
