Ms. Bailey is a proud product of the Houston County School System. She attended Tucker Elementary, Perry Middle School, Perry Jr. High School and graduated from Perry High School. After a 28 year career in Banking, Ms. Bailey fulfilled her lifelong passion of becoming a teacher. Ms. Bailey received her Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood/Special Education from Mercer University. She then went on to earn her Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education and her Specialist Degree in Curriculum and Instruction, both from Piedmont College. Ms. Bailey has been teaching Kindergarten at Northside Elementary since 2016, when her teaching career began. Ms. Bailey fosters a love for learning in her classroom and genuinely cares for all of the students at Northside Elementary. She instills confidence and perseverance in her students and convinces them they are capable of succeeding. Ms. Bailey has 3 adult children, all of whom are educators and 7 fabulous grandchildren. In her spare time she enjoys gardening, baking and spending time with family.
